Nanoco Group PLC - Runcorn, England-based nanomaterials developer - Confirms that on Thursday, it received the settlement amount of $4.5 million from LG Electronics Inc and LG Electronics USA Inc, as announced on November 20. Nanoco filed a patent infringement lawsuit against South Korea’s LG Electronics in April, before the parties reached a no-fault agreement. Notes that the gross amount agreed was $5 million, 10% of which was withheld to satisfy relevant tax liabilities. The gross $5 million will be recognised as revenue for the current financial year.
