AstraZeneca PLC - Cambridge, England-based pharmaceuticals maker - Expects its shares to start trading directly on the New York Stock Exchange from Monday, February 2. This will follow Astra’s American depositary shares being delisted from Nasdaq on the Friday before, January 30. Astra says the direct US listing, which it first announced in September, will ‘deliver a global listing for global investors in a global company’. Astra’s shares will remain tradable on the London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stockholm, and it will retain its FTSE 100 index membership. Its ticker symbol will remain ’AZN’.
