DIRECTOR DEALINGS: 3i CEO buys £1 million in shares after update

The following is a round-up of share dealings by London-listed company directors and managers announced on Thursday and Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Boku Inc - London and San Francisco-based mobile payment service provider - Non-Executive Director Jon Prideaux sells 1.0 million shares at 219.85 pence, worth £2.2 million from January 22 to Tuesday this week. Prideaux retains 2.0 million shares, a 0.7% stake.

Jardine Matheson Holdings Ltd - Hong Kong-based holding company with interests in retail, property, hotels and motor dealerships - Chief Executive Officer Lincoln Pan buys 34,200 shares at average $72.89 to $76.11, worth $2.5 million, in Singapore on Friday last week to Wednesday this week. Pan has been buying Jardine shares since taking over as CEO last month, buying shares worth about $7.0 million in total in December and January, including the latest purchase.

3i Group PLC - London-based private equity and venture capital investor - Chief Executive Simon Borrows buys 30,000 shares at £34.90, worth £1.0 million, on Thursday. 3i earlier Thursday reported improved trading in the new year at its key portfolio firm Action, amid a pick-up in trading in France.

AO World PLC - Bolton, England-based consumer electronics seller - Non-Executive Director Chris Hopkinson sells 700,000 shares at 107p, worth £749,000, on Friday last week. Hopkinson retains 21.1 million shares, a 3.7% stake. The Jolly Foundation, of which AO World CEO John Roberts is a trustee, sells 1.0 million shares at the same price on Monday. The foundation retains 4.5 million shares, a 0.8% stake.

Taseko Mines Ltd - operates open-pit Gibraltar copper mine in British Columbia, Canada - CEO Stuart McDonald receives 266,794 shares from the vesting of performance share units and sells 66,000 of them for C$11.19, worth C$738,540, about £399,300, on Monday. Corporate Secretary Trevor Thomas exercises options for 90,000 shares and sells all of them at C$9.96, worth C$896,400, about £481,905, on January 22.

Beeks Financial Cloud Group PLC - Glasgow, Scotland-based cloud computing and connectivity provider for financial markets - Chief Executive Officer Gordon McArthur sells 100,000 shares at 231 pence, worth £231,000, on Thursday. McArthur sold 200,000 shares in December. He retains 20.8 million shares, a 30.5% stake.

WH Smith PLC - Swindon, England-based travel retail shop chain - Chief Financial Officer Max Izzard buys 25,000 shares at £6.75, worth £168,750, on Thursday.
