discoverIE Group PLC on Monday hinted at further acquisitions as it reported sales growth and increased orders in the last three months of 2025. The Surrey, England-based designer and manufacturer of electronic components said sales increased by 5% at constant currency and by 1% organically in the three months ending December from the year prior. Group orders increased by 9% at constant currency and by 4% organically for a book-to-bill ratio of 1.03 times. ‘The order book gives good coverage for the final quarter, and accordingly, the group remains on track to deliver full year adjusted earnings in line with the board’s expectations,’ the company said in a statement. In the financial year to March 2025, discoverIE reported adjusted pretax profit of £50.1 million, up 3.9% from £48.2 million the year prior, and adjusted earnings per share of 38.7 pence, up 5.2% from 36.8p. The Controls operating unit, which has been slower to recover than the other three operating units, showed an improved trend in sales from the first half, with organic orders improving and ahead of last year, the firm added. Gross margins remained robust, working capital tightly managed and cash generation continues to be strong, the FTSE 250 listing observed. Further, discoverIE Group said the acquisition of Keymat Technology Ltd has now been completed following receipt of regulatory approval, and approval for the acquisition of Trival Antene doo is in progress. The firm announced both acquisitions back in December. discoverIE Group bought antenna manufacturer Trival Antene doo for an initial cash consideration of €45.5 million, and designer and manufacturer of differentiated assistive human-machine interface electronic products Keymat Technology for £5.5 million. The firm said there continues to be a ‘healthy pipeline of acquisition opportunities in development.’ Shares in discoverIE were down 2.5% at 618.00 pence each in London on Monday morning.
