Serabi Gold PLC - Brazil-focused mining firm - Confirms mining and milling operations were not interrupted and continue to progress according to budget, following last week’s incidents at Palito Complex and Coringa mine. Last week, Serabi said an incident occurred, resulting in a fatality at its Palito underground operation. It said this was related to a traffic accident underground. It also reported an incident at its Coringa underground operation that resulted in a fatality. It said that this accident was related to mining activity at a production face.

‘The company has complied with protocols of all relevant agencies and authorities regarding the incidents and continues to provide support to the families of those affected and staff during this time,’ Serabi says.

Current stock price: 284.00 pence, up 7.1% on Tuesday afternoon in London

12-month change: more than doubled from 134.50 pence
