Prudential PLC - London-based insurer - Confirms Douglas Flint’s appointment as a non-executive director and chair-designate will become effective on March 4. As previously announced, Flint will succeed Shriti Vadera as chair after the annual general meeting on May 28, when Vadera will leave the board. Flint, who has previously chaired Asia-focused lender HSBC Holdings PLC, currently holds the same post at asset manager Aberdeen Group PLC and intellectual property commercialisation firm IP Group PLC.
