The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Tuesday. ---------- SMALL-CAP - WINNERS ---------- IMC Exploration Group PLC, up 19% at 1.94 pence, 12-month range 0.45p-2.83p. The exploration company based in Ireland hails laboratory results which highlight the ‘potential for further discovery at PL 2551’ in County Wexford. ‘Following the Company’s recently announced Karaberd gold and silver mine’s successful licence extension to 2035 in Armenia, these findings from the Irish portfolio further underscore IMC’s strategy of identifying and advancing high-value gold assets across multiple jurisdictions,’ Executive Chair Eamon O’Brien comments. ---------- SMALL-CAP - LOSERS ---------- McBride PLC, down 6.5% at 156.10p, 12-month range 106.20p-170.00p. The firm reiterates full-year guidance as it reports a drop in half-year profitability and a modest volume-led increase in revenue. The Manchester, England-based private-label products manufacturer says pretax profit fell 11% to £23.0 million in the six months to December from £25.7 million the year prior, or by 1.9% to £26.2 million from £26.7 million on an adjusted basis. Adjusted operating profit declined 1.6% to £31.5 million from £32.0 million. Revenue edged up 0.8% to £475.2 million from £471.4 million, aided by volume growth from both private label and contract manufacturing, but fell 2.1% at constant currency. ---------- Baillie Gifford China Growth Trust PLC, down 2.0% at 308.60p, 12-month range 215.63p-328.00p. The firm, which invests in ‘China’s top growth firms’, tracks some of its investees lower.
