IN BRIEF: Bank of Ireland starts €530 million share buyback

Bank of Ireland Group PLC - Dublin-based lender - Starts on Tuesday a share buyback worth up to €530 million. The buyback will be run by Dublin-based broker J&E Davy, together with UBS AG London Branch, and will be completed by the end of December. All repurchased shares will be cancelled to reduce share capital, Bank of Ireland says. The buyback was first announced with Bank of Ireland’s annual results on Monday. The company also raised its annual dividend by 11% to 70 euro cents per share, worth €667 million, despite pretax profit falling by 25% to €1.39 billion in 2025 from €1.86 billion in 2024.
