Playtech PLC - Douglas, Isle of Man-based gambling software - Starts on Friday share buyback programme for up to 5.7 million shares, worth about £19.0 million at their current market price. Playtech plans to complete the buyback before its next annual general meeting, set to be held towards the end of May. The buyback will be run by US investment bank Jefferies International Ltd. The repurchased shares will be used for future employee share awards.
