Team PLC - Jersey-based wealth, asset management and financial services - Makes two acquisitions for £1.9 million in total, all in new Team shares. Team buys Epic Fund Services Guernsey Ltd, a Channel Islands-based financial planning business, from Epic Administration Ltd, paying £880,000 in Team shares at a price to be set upon completion. It also will pay £1.0 million in Team shares to buy from Epic Markets (UK) LLP eight investment mandates with a total of £157 million in assets under management. Team notes that the Guernsey-based acquisitions fit geographically with its own Jersey base and are expected to be earnings accretive. ‘We know the business well,’ Team Chair Mark Clubb says, ‘and we are confident of building on the current recurring revenue base, and making this into a strong profit centre, alongside giving us additional opportunities for new client origination and retention.’ The two acquisitions follow the completion last week of Team’s purchase of London-based wealth-manager WH Ireland Group PLC.
