The first, the Allevyn Complete Care Foam Dressing, is a ‘unique five-layer construction’ meant to improve wear times and decrease risk of bacterial infection in wounds. The second, the Renasys Edge Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System, is a lightweight pump meant to relieve pressure on wounds, thereby ‘significantly improv[ing] wound outcomes’.
