Barclays PLC - London-based bank - Completes on Thursday the £1 billion share buyback started in February, buying back 234.9 million shares at average 425.80 pence. The buyback was run by JP Morgan Securities PLC. All the shares will be cancelled. Starts on Friday new £500 million buyback announced at the end of last month with first-quarter results.
