IN BRIEF: Critical Metals shares surge with Lange CEO appointment

Critical Metals PLC - London-based mining company - Appoints Danilo Lange chief executive officer with immediate effect. Lange, who has served as interim CEO since December 2025, has more than 25 years of leadership experience across the mining, consumer goods and marketing sectors. Kelvin Williams, Critical Metals non-executive chair says: ‘We are very pleased that Danilo has agreed to continue as chief executive officer on a permanent basis’. Lange says he intends to continue the company’s strategy of investing in low-capex, near-production critical metals projects, including the Molulu copper/cobalt project in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Current stock price: 10.50 pence, closed up 11% in London on Tuesday
