IN BRIEF: Zinc Media wins $6 million contract in Middle East

ALN

Zinc Media Group PLC - London-based television and audio production company - Says it has been commissioned to produce ‘a major television series’ in the Middle East, in a deal worth $6 million. The firm expects the commission to be recognised fully in 2026, with international distribution rights generating additional revenue over the longer term. Zinc Media says that the series is one of the longest-running entertainment formats in the Arab world, and is now entering its 18th season. ‘The show follows inventors and entrepreneurs as they develop ideas with the potential to change lives and impact the world, combining innovation, entrepreneurship and competition,’ Zinc Media says.

Chief Executive Officer Mark Browning says: ‘This is a landmark commission for Zinc. The series is one of the most recognised entertainment formats in the Arab world, with cultural reach across the region and the global Arab diaspora. Winning it reflects what’s possible when we bring the full firepower of the Zinc Group to the biggest opportunities in our priority markets. It is a strong proof point for our Middle East growth strategy and for Zinc’s ability to compete and win at the top end of international entertainment production.’
