Merchants Trust PLC - Investment trust dedicated to investments in higher yielding large UK companies - Announces that Colin Clark will retire from his role as chair, with effect from September 30, when he will be succeeded by Karen McKellar, who is currently the company’s senior independent director. Meanwhile, Neil Galloway will become senior independent director. Incoming chair McKellar says: ‘I would like to thank Colin personally for his outstanding leadership and significant contribution to The Merchants Trust.
