IN BRIEF: Galliford Try wins place on £1.5 billion UK framework

Galliford Try Holdings PLC - London-based construction company - Gains a four-year place on the YORbuild Major Works 2 regional framework contract, which is worth £1.5 billion in total. Says it has been appointed for lots 1, for projects exceeding £10 million, and 2, for projects worth over £30 million. The YORbuild 2 framework is managed by England’s Leeds, East Riding, Sheffield and North Yorkshire councils and covers various major building projects for public sector bodies and third sector organisations in the Yorkshire & Humber region, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and parts of Leicestershire, and across the North East of England. Framework manager YORhub has appointed 10 other construction firms to the framework, including Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure Ltd, Kier Construction Ltd; and Vinci Building Ltd.
