Midwich hires former Berendsen CFO Kevin Quinn as next chair

ALN

Midwich Group PLC on Friday named Kevin Quinn as an independent non-executive director & chair designate, to succeed outgoing Chair Andrew Herbert.

The Norfolk, England-based audiovisual technology company said Quinn will join the board with effect from August 1, when he will succeed Herbert as non-executive chair ‘following an orderly transition period.’

Quinn worked as chief financial officer of Berendsen PLC for more than 12 years until 2017, having previously been chair of Marlowe PLC.

His ‘significant senior leadership, financial and board-level experience across business services, healthcare and professional services businesses,’ Midwich said, covers ‘strategic transformation, financial leadership, governance and controls, and M&A and corporate development.’

‘I am delighted to be joining Midwich Group,’ commented Quinn. ‘The group has built a strong market position and has significant opportunities for continued growth.

‘I look forward to working with the board, [Chief Executive Officer Stephen Fenby] and the wider management team to build on this momentum, strengthen the group’s market-leading position and deliver sustainable long-term value for shareholders.’

Midwich shares were 3.8% higher at 137.00 pence early on Friday afternoon in London.
