TRADING UPDATES: Seed Capital terminates 4DM acquisition proposal

ALN

The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Seed Capital Solutions PLC - London-based venture capital firm - Announces the termination of its proposed 4DM acquisition due to lack of Spanish government authorisation. Cuarta Dimension Medica SL, or 4DM, the Guadassua, Spain-based healthcare software company, is subject to Spanish regulatory oversight and authorisation as a company in the strategic sector of artificial intelligence. Seed ‘has now been informed by 4DM that such authorisation would not be forthcoming and accordingly, discussions have been terminated.’ Says Damion Greef, Seed Capital chair: ‘We had worked diligently with our advisory team over the last year to progress the transaction documentation required to complete the Proposed Acquisition and are obviously disappointed on behalf of all our shareholders and other stakeholders. Our focus now is on finding a new takeover opportunity for Seed.’

----------

Thruvision Group PLC - Abingdon, England-based walk-through security technology developer - Says its 8108 WalkTHRU screening solution has been tested by the UK government’s National Protective Security Authority. The NPSA’s Discriminative Threat Detection Systems Test Method ‘shows that the system has the capability for screening non-divested individuals for mass casualty events.’ The WalkTHRU solution can support peak flow rates of 1,800 people per hour.

----------

Boku Inc - London-based payments and financial technology company - Chief Financial Officer Robert Whittick buys 65,000 company shares at 98.75 pence per share for a total of £64,187.85. Whittick’s holding in the company represents 0.021% of Boku’s issued share capital.

----------

Mpac Group PLC - Manchester, UK-based point of care pharmacogenetic testing company - Appoints Duncan Tyler to the company board in anticipation of Tyler assuming the role of permanent chief financial officer on July 31. Tyler has spent 26 years with Mpac, including as Corporate Development director and group head of Finance. He has served as interim chief financial officer since April 21. Andrew Kitchingman, chair of Mpac, says: ‘It is a great pleasure to appoint Duncan to the Board of Mpac as CFO. His extensive corporate development and financial experience at a senior level within our business will be extremely valuable as Mpac executes its long-term growth strategy.’

----------

Boston International Holdings PLC - London-based special purpose acquisition company - Announces the resignation of company chair Christopher Pitman, effective immediately. The remaining company directors comment: ‘We would like to thank Chris for his contribution to the company over the years and wish him well for the future.’
