Ethtry says ‘due diligence underway’ on US data centre project

ALN

Ethtry PLC on Monday said three UK solar sites are in active development while due diligence is underway on a US data centre project.

The London-based company building ethereum treasury for investments in ‘breakthrough technologies’ cited its strategy to progress smaller solar sites directly while evaluating a range of partnership structures to jointly fund and operate sites.

Ethtry said due diligence is underway on a US data centre project with a specialist AI data centre provider, with a range of potential transaction structures under evaluation.

In the UK, three UK solar development sites are in active development with an aggregate initial capacity of at least 15 megawatts, subject to grid capacity and landowner agreements. Letters of authority are being finalised to enable formal engagement with distribution network operators.

The firm said where appropriate, it will support artificial intelligence data centre capacity on site which would position Ethtry at the intersection of renewable generation and AI compute infrastructure.

Ethtry said: ‘To support the delivery of these workstreams, the company is also looking to expand its operational and development team and will update the market on key appointments in due course. Further updates will be provided as these workstreams reach definitive milestones.’

Ethtry shares fell 5.1% to 0.19 pence each on Monday afternoon on Aquis in London.
