Wizz Air Holdings PLC - Budapest-based budget airline - Managing Director Michael Delehant will leave Wizz on July 31 ‘to pursue opportunities outside the organisation’. Following his departure, Chief Operations Officer Diarmuid O’Conghaile and Chief Commercial Officer Ian Malin will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Jozsef Varadi. Incoming Chief Technical Officer Jingyuan Sun also will report to the CEO upon joining. Varadi says that over the past five years Delehant ‘played an important role in helping build and strengthen both the organisation and the business’ during a period of ‘multiple black swan events and extraordinary challenges’.
