The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News: ---------- Berkeley Energia Ltd - Spain-focused clean energy company, which is developing the Salamanca uranium project - Announces the maiden mineral resource estimate for its 100% owned Conchas project as part of the critical minerals exploration initiative in Spain. Notes shallow, thick zones of lithium and rubidium mineralisation, with accessory tin, caesium, beryllium, niobium and tantalum hosted within a muscovitic leucogranite unit. The inferred resource sits at 11.8 million tonnes grading 0.41% lithium oxide and 0.21% rubidium oxide for a total of 49,000t contained lithium oxide and 25,200t of contained rubidium oxide. Executive Director Robert Behets calls the MRE a ‘significant milestone’ which ‘clearly demonstrates the significant potential’ of the project. ‘The resource commodity mix which includes rubidium, a high value critical metal used in high-tech applications in key sectors such as defence and military, and lithium, a critical and strategic material for the EU, highlights the potential strategic importance of Conchas,’ he adds. Company plans additional infill drilling to increase the resource classification, and a second phase of metallurgical test work to optimise the flotation and magnetic separation processes. ---------- Tertiary Minerals PLC - mineral development firm with projects in Zambia, the US state of Nevada, and Sweden - Announces preliminary results from portable x-ray fluorescence analysis of drill samples from the first 12 drill holes at target A1, Mushima north project in Zambia. The results suggest the presence of a higher-grade copper zone located in the north of the target, within the near surface, lower grade, oxide mineralisation where the company has an exploration target of 15 million to 30 million tonnes at 40-60 grammes per tonne silver equivalent. Drilling is currently underway to better define this zone. Managing Director Richard Belcher says: ‘This is a very exciting start to this drill programme and we eagerly await the independent external laboratory analysis for these drill holes. Drilling continues and I look forward to providing additional updates as the drill programme progresses.’ ---------- Sintana Energy Inc - oil and gas company targeting Angola, Namibia and Uruguay, with offices in London and Toronto - In offshore Uruguay, Sintana says Ancap, the Uruguayan state-owned energy company and regulator, agrees to a suspension of the initial exploration sub-period of the Area Off-1 block for 1 year. As a result, the first exploration sub-period will now expire on August 23. An initial season of seismic acquisition was completed prior to the end of April, with a second season scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter. Acquisition, processing and interpretation of all of the planned 3D seismic data over the block is considered essential data necessary to making an optimal exploration well drilling decision, Sintana says. Meanwhile in Argentina, Sintana says Challenger Energy Group PLC, part of the group, plans to participate in the international public tender after expressing an interest for the award of an offshore hydrocarbon exploration permit in the North Argentine Basin. ---------- Billington Holdings PLC - Barnsley, England-based construction company - Highlights three recent ‘significant’ contract wins across a range of sectors with an expected combined value of around £28 million. The contracts, scheduled largely for delivery during 2027, represent ‘further progress in the group’s strategy of securing high-quality projects with strong end-user and sector credentials,’ it says. The contracts are a £6 million award for a multi-storey development within the education sector in North-West London, a £12 million energy from waste project for a repeat client in Eastern England, and a £10 million instruction in relation to a project within the defence sector in south-east England. In addition, Billington continues to see a ‘healthy’ pipeline of opportunities across its key market sectors and remains focused on delivering complex structural steel solutions for major infrastructure, commercial, industrial and specialist projects. ‘Together, these projects provide further confidence for delivering 2027 in line with market expectations and strengthen our already healthy order book,’ says Chief Executive Mark Smith. ---------- Equipmake Holdings PLC - Norfolk, England-based maker of electric motors, inverters, and drivetrains - Trading in the second half of the financial year ended May 31 shows ‘significant’ improvement over the first half. As a result, Equipmake expects to report full-year revenue (excluding grant income) of around £8.2 million more than double last year’s £3.5 million. In addition, receives grant income of £1.6 million, up from £900,000. The around £6.8 million of revenue booked in the second half of financial 2026 generates a gross margin of approximately 38%. This reflects reduced cost of key components and ‘better utilisation’ of the company’s delivery teams, it says. Equipmake says it was profitable at the earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation level in the second half of the financial year compared with a £2.2 million loss in the first. Full-year results are expected to be published in October. Looking ahead, company says the trends seen in the second half of financial 2026 have continued in the new financial year, with ‘continued sales momentum, and sales being achieved at attractive gross margins.’ The contracted live order book at June 30 for delivery in the current financial year was in excess of £8 million and the company has a ‘further healthy pipeline’ of near-term revenue opportunities. ‘Equipmake’s previous challenges are now firmly behind it and with an appropriate cost base and growing level of interest in the company’s world class electrification solutions I believe the company has a very bright future,’ says Chief Executive Tim Metcalfe. ---------- EDX Medical Group PLC - Cambridge, England-based developer of digital diagnostic products and services - Announces the full availability of its bowel cancer biomarker testing service in the UK. The BC95 service enable sensitivities in excess of 95% across stages 1 to 4 of bowel or colorectal cancer, the second most common cause of cancer related deaths worldwide. EDX initially offered the service to a limited group of clinicians prior to full commercial availability and preliminary clinical evaluation of the BC95 service has indicated particular demand for the early detection test. In addition, EDX has an exclusive agreement with Genomictree Ltd of South Korea, to provide their EarlyTect epigenetic test that measures aberrant methylation of the Syndecan 2 gene promoter region, a biomarker that is frequently observed in early-stage colorectal cancer tissues. It is the ‘most sensitive and accurate epigenetic biomarker test for colorectal cancer currently available on the UK market,’ ECX says. ‘The UK cancer diagnostics market is growing rapidly with a substantial uplift in overall value forecast over the next few years and we believe the BC95 service fits perfectly with the increasing demand for comprehensive and sophisticated diagnostics,’ says EDX Founder Chris Evans. ---------- Copyright 2026 Alliance News Ltd.
