Tamar Minerals PLC - exploring for tin and copper in south west England - Hires Dominic Claridge to be chief executive officer, starting on July 15. Claridge has worked in mining for 35 years, Tamar notes, including experience in China, Australia, Namibia and the UK. Claridge was chief operating officer of AIM-listed Griffin Mining Ltd for six years. He will work two days a week at Tamar and won’t join the board.
