Airlines open lower in wake of London bombings

SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) -- Airline stocks opened lower Thursday in the wake of terror attacks that rocked central London. The Amex Airline Index lost 2.6% to 45.22 points with AMR Corp. leading decliners, off 4.5% to $11.67.
