Airline stocks weaken in morning trading

SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) -- Airline stocks traded lower early Tuesday with the Amex Airline Index off 1.2% to 48.32 points as oil prices moved higher. AMR Corp. fell 1% to $12.54 and Continental Airlines fell 1% to $14.15. Bucking the decline, Alaska Air Group rose 0.2% to $31.05.
