Continental, Delta Air advance leads airline index

SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) -- Continental Airlines , ExpressJet Holdings and Delta Air Lines both rose more than 2% in Monday morning trading, helping push the Amex Airline Index up 1% to 51.46 points. On the downside, Southwest Airlines and Northwest Airlines slipped less than 1%.
