The objective is to provide a degree of income to investors with the aim of building capital through investing in a portfolio of primarily global equities.
Graham Campbell
Graham is a major shareholder in Saracen, having joined from Edinburgh Partners, where he was one of the founding partners and director. Prior to this he was head of retail funds at SWIP. Before SWIP, Graham spent ten years with Edinburgh Fund Managers, where he was a director. Previously, he worked for National Mutual and General Accident after beginning his career with Campbell Neill (stockbrokers) in 1982.Although in the twilight of his sporting career, Graham remains actively involved in Judo, where he was a former Commonwealth medalist.
David Keir
David joined Saracen from SWIP, where he was Investment Director on the UK Equities Desk, running both Institutional and Retail Funds. He was also Head of Research. Before SWIP, David spent four years on the UK Equities Desk at Edinburgh Fund Managers. He originally trained with KPMG to become a Chartered Accountant (CA), and is also a CFA Charter holder. As all other staff, David is a shareholder in Saracen and has his own money invested in Saracen Global Income & Growth. David is a keen golfer and claims to have been the youngest person in the UK to score a hole in one, at just 9 years old.
