Fund Objective
The objective is to achieve a total return, before charges and expenses payable out of the Fund, in excess of the total return on the MSCI Pacific Index, or any successor or substitute index, over the long term by investing, either directly or indirectly, in shares of companies listed on any stock exchange in any of the markets included in the MSCI Pacific Index or any successor or substitute index, in each case as modified from time to time. The Fund may also invest up to (but no more than) 20% in value of the Fund, either directly or indirectly, in shares of companies listed on Asian or Pacific markets which are not included in the MSCI Pacific Index, or any successor or substitute index. Up to (but no more than) 10% in value of the Fund may be invested in each of the following: collective investment schemes and deposits.

Harvey graduated with a BSc in Economics from Warwick University in 1987. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992 and joined Baillie Gifford in the same year. Harvey is an Investment Manager in the Developed Asian Equities Investment Team.
