Fund Objective
The objective of this fund is to provide a combination of income and growth to offset the effects of inflation. The fund will typically invest between 90% and 100% in company shares from the UK. The fund will invest in a broad spread of company shares from all economic sectors. The manager will aim to identify those investments (which will be between 70% and 100% of cases in larger companies) which have the potential to produce above average returns. The fund may use derivatives (contracts which have a value linked to the price of another asset) for the following purposes: To help with efficient day to day management. To reduce some of the risks of the market. The fund may also invest in cash, deposits and other authorised investment funds from Legal & General. If you hold accumulation units, income from investments held by the fund (dividends) will be reinvested into the value of your units. If you hold distribution units, income from investments held by the fund will be paid out to you (as a dividend). You can buy or sell units in this fund on any working day. You need to contact us with your instruction before 12 noon. This is the time we calculate unit prices for this fund. If you contact us after 12 noon, the units will be bought or sold at the next working day's price. This fund may not be appropriate for investors who plan to withdraw their money within five years.

Richard Black
Richard joined LGIM in 2008, and is the Fund Manager for the UK Income portfolios. Richard launched and is the lead manager on the L&G UK Equity Income Trust and in 2013, alongside Paul Hilsley, formed the Global Income Team which, together with Robert Dalley, forms the core of the firm's equity income expertise. Richard has 11 years of investment experience and joined LGIM from Old Mutual Asset Managers where he worked from 2002, most recently on the UK Equity Income Team after a period covering US equities. Richard graduated from the University of Southampton with a BSc in Economics. Richard is a CFA charter holder.
