The Fund’s investment objective is to provide capital growth through investment in US companies. In order to achieve the objective the Manager will invest in a focused portfolio of securities. The emphasis of the Fund will be investment in US companies. The Fund may also invest in Canadian companies, and other companies headquartered or quoted outside the US where those companies have material or critical operations within, or derive significant business from, the US. Investment will be primarily in transferable securities. The Fund may also invest in collective investment schemes, cash, deposits, derivatives, warrants and money market instruments.
Joanna Shatney
Joanna Shatney is a portfolio manager for the US Large Cap Equity and US All Cap products in 2009 & appointed as Head of Research for the US Large Cap team in 2007. In 2005 joined the US Large Cap team with responsibility for the Industrial sector, including Electrical Equipment, Multi-Industry, Machinery and Transportation, based in New York.- In 1998 moved to Goldman Sachs. After 6 years covering Machinery at Goldman, she extended into Transport. Industrial coverage began in May 1996 when she joined Lehman Brothers covering Machinery companies as a sell-side research analyst. Investment career commenced in 1995 when she joined Capital Investments International as an associate supporting economist, strategist, and equity research analyst in New York focused on large cap equities. She is a BSBA, American International College.
