To provide a high and stable income, with the prospect of capital and income growth over the long term, by investing in a balanced portfolio of securities. The Fund currently invests predominantly in a balanced portfolio of blue-chip UK equities, gilt edged securities and other UK fixed interest instruments.
Talib Sheikh
Talib is a portfolio manager for the Multi-Asset Solutions Group, based in London. He is primarily responsible for managing total return portfolios and is a member of the Global Strategy Team which establishes broad macroeconomic themes that are reflected across all portfolios managed globally by the team. Talib has managed balanced and tactical asset allocation overlay accounts since 2002. An employee since 1998, he was previously an Assistant Portfolio Manager in the derivatives implementation team in London. He is a CFA charterholder.
James Illsley
James Illsley is a portfolio manager in the J.P. Morgan Asset Management European Equity Group. He specialises in managing institutional and charitable portfolios. An employee since 1999, James was previously a UK equity portfolio manager and Director with Prudential Portfolio Managers UK (Ltd). James obtained an M.Eng in Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering from London University.
Sarah Emly
Sarah Emly is a portfolio manager within the J.P. Morgan Asset Management European Equity Group. She specialises in managing UK institutional portfolios. An employee since 1995, Sarah was previously an analyst in the UK and Pan-European team before joining the portfolio management team in 1999. She holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in International Management and Modern Languages (French) from the University of Bath, and the Securities Institute Diploma, and is a Fellow of the Securities Institute. Sarah is a CFA charter holder.
