Michiel Timmerman
Michiel joined Ignis in 2010 as managing director and chief investment officer (CIO). Previously, he was chief investment officer of RBS Asset Management's fund of hedge fund, private equity and long-only multi-manager businesses that were acquired by Aberdeen Asset Managers in February 2010. Michiel was co-founder of Coutts' fund of hedge fund business and spent two years working for a London-based European equity hedge fund. He graduated from Oxford University with a D. Phil.
