Fund Objective

To provide a return in the form of capital appreciation over the long term through a portfolio of international equity-based securities, collective investment schemes, bonds, cash and money market instruments. Where the Investment Manager considers it appropriate to achieve its overall objective the Company may invest in derivative instruments and forward transactions both of which may be used for the purpose of Efficient Portfolio Management and also for investment purposes.

Fund Managers

Gene Salerno

Gene is responsible for portfolio investment strategy at Kleinwort Benson with expertise in asset allocation, security selection and portfolio construction. Gene is a member of the Investment Policy Committee reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, and oversees portfolio recommendations for Kleinwort Benson’s investment management clients. Previously, Gene was Portfolio Manager and Director of Research for Karrig Strategic Capital LLP, a London-based multi-family office investing across a wide range of traditional and alternative assets in both public and private markets. Gene spent his early career with Thomson Financial and affiliated companies based in Boston, and initially as an engineer with Raytheon Company. Gene holds an MBA with finance concentration from London Business School and graduated summa cum laude from Binghamton University, New York with a BSc in Computer Science. He also holds the Private Client Investment Management Certificate and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
