Fund Objective

The fund aims to provide capital growth and income of inflation (as measured by the UK Consumer Price Index) plus 4% per annum (after fees have been deducted) over a 5 to 7 year period by investing in a diversified range of assets and markets worldwide. This cannot be guaranteed and could change according to prevailing market conditions. Your capital is at risk. The fund is actively managed and invests its assets directly, or indirectly through collective investment schemes, exchange traded funds, real estate investment trusts or closed ended funds, in equities, bonds and alternative asset classes worldwide. Alternative assets may include funds that use absolute return strategies or funds that invest indirectly in real estate, private equity and commodities. The weightings of these holdings are adjusted in response to changing market conditions. The fund aims to achieve a return of inflation plus 4% per annum over the market cycle with between one-half to two-thirds of the level of equity market volatility (a measure of how much The fund's returns may vary) over the same period. The fund may invest more than 10% of its assets in collective investment schemes (including other Schroder Funds). The fund may also invest in warrants and money market instruments, and may hold cash. The fund may use derivatives with the aim of achieving investment gains, reducing risk or managing the fund more efficiently (for more information please refer to section 6 of Appendix I of the Prospectus). The fund may use leverage and take short positions.

Fund Managers

Johanna Kyrklund

Johanna Kyrklund is the Group CIO and Global Head of Multi-Asset Investments. She joined Schroders in 2007, previously having worked at Insight Investment and Deutsche Asset Management in various fund management and asset allocation roles. As Group CIO, she oversees investment performance, philosophy and process for all asset classes (excluding private assets). As Global Head of Multi-Asset Investments, she is responsible for investments on behalf of multi-asset clients globally. Johanna has a degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from Oxford University and is a CFA Charterholder. Johanna is a member of the Cambridge University Investment Board.

Remi Olu-Pitan

Remi Ajewole is Fund Manager of UK Multi Asset portfolios including the Dynamic Multi-Asset Fund. She is a member of the Strategic Investment Group Multi-Asset (SIGMA), specializing in Equity and Volatility research. Her investment career commenced in 2006 upon joining Schroders. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
