Fund Objective
Chariguard Overseas Equity Fund has the objective of performing in line with its benchmark. The fund’s benchmark is constructed by the WM Company, based upon the FTSE World ex UK Index adjusted according to the regional composition of the WM Total Charities Universe. The data is available quarterly two months after each quarter end. In this way the Fund provides its clients with a diversified overseas asset mix which is appropriate for the charities market
Fund Managers
Rupert Marlow
Prior to joining RCM in 1987, Rupert worked for Schroders from 1979 to 1985, managing UK pension funds and charities. He then joined Scimitar as head of pension fund investments. At RCM, Rupert initially looked after a range of pension funds and charities as subsequently became involved with quantitative products, being responsible for the launch of the Chariguard Common Investment Funds. Rupert received his MA from Cambridge University and also qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Peat Marwick Mitchell.
