Fund Objective
The Fund aims achieve a target income rate (after the deduction of ongoing charges) equal to the higher of 7.00% per year or the prevailing Bank of England Base Rate plus 2.50% per year.[#] PLEASE NOTE: In current investment conditions it is difficult to generate the current target income level and this is likely to remain difficult in the short to medium term.

Nicholas Samouilhan
Nick Samouilhan is the Senior Fund Manager, Multi-Asset. He is the Co-Fund Manager aiming Target income fund. Nick joined investment industry in 2008 and Aviva Investors in 2010. Nick manages our risk-targeted multi-asset funds, a suite of multi-asset income funds and our AIMS funds. Nick began his career at Investec Asset Management in 2008. Previously, he lectured in economics and finance and authored papers on volatility modelling, macroeconomic forecasting and portfolio diversification. He has a doctorate from the University of Cape Town focusing on applying ARCH process models to estimating time-varying risk premia in financial markets. In addition he holds the Financial Risk Management designation and is also a CFA charterholder.
