The Fund aims to achieve long-term capital growth by investing mainly in North American companies. The Fund can use derivatives to create a long or short exposure to such companies in order to further enhance returns.
Thomas Digenan
Tom Digenan joined UBS Global Asset Management in 1993. Prior to joining the US equity team, Tom was president of mutual funds and the relationship funds organization. Based in Chicago, Tom participates in the analysis and development of US equity portfolios, and is responsible for communicating UBS's equity strategy to clients and investment consultants. Tom has been working in the investment industry since 1986. Prior to joining UBS, Tom was a senior manager in the tax department of KPMG Peat Marwick, where he worked exclusively in the investment services industry. Tom is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
