Fund Objective
To provide a high rate of income to unit holders by investing in cash deposits and other money market instruments. Investment will be in the UK in the financial sector. It will be actively managed to achieve as high a level of current income as is consistent with security of capital and liquidity.

Geoff Hitchin
Geoff Hitchin was born in Clitheroe in 1942 and attended Brentwood school in Essex. On completing school he became a Trainee Accountant. He focused on tax and worked as a Tax Officer / Consultant for nearly 20 years before setting up Marlborough Fund Managers Ltd and the Marlborough Global Bond Fund in 1987. This was to provide tax efficient savings for his clients. In 1998 he started the Marlborough Bond Income Fund, a corporate bond fund which he continues to run alongside various other Marlborough funds.
