This Fund aims to achieve a high and increasing income together with capital growth by investing mainly in Continental Europe, although it may invest internationally.
Joerg de Vries-Hippen
Jörg de Vries-Hippen is the CIO European Equities, is Investment Style Leader European Core and is portfolio manager of European Equities Core products. He covers the Swiss Equity Market and runs the Swiss-Equity funds since 1995. Joerg joined the Company in 1992. Before he joined the European Equity Team in 1994 he was Junior Fund Manager for Japanese Equities. Between 1994 and 2001 Joerg was responsible for Italy, Spain and Switzerland, before he built up our Euroland franchise. From 2003 on he took over the Team Head of the European Large Caps in Frankfurt. He became Co-CIO European Equities in 2007 and in 2010 CIO European Equities. He joined European Equities Fund Management group in London and Frankfurt. He graduated with a master’s degree in business administration, specialised in banking/financial system and accountancy from the University of Mannheim in 1993. Jörg also holds the DVFA/CIIA designation.
