Objective: The objective of the Fund is to provide a return, net of fees, higher than that provided by the FTSE All-Share Index over the long term (at least five years). Policy: At least 70% of the Fund is invested in shares of companies based in the UK (i.e. companies domicilied, headquartered or which conduct a majority of their business activity, in the UK). Up to 30% of the Fund may be invested in other assets, including shares of other companies which may be based anywhere in the world, open-ended funds (including funds managed by Jupiter and its associates), cash and near cash.
Ben Whitmore
Ben Whitmore is a highly-regarded fund manager. Ben joined Jupiter Asset Management in 2006 and is currently Head of Strategy, Value Equities.He manages the Jupiter UK Special Situations Fund and the Jupiter Income Trust and also co-manages the Jupiter Global Value Equity Fund and Jupiter Global Value fund. Before joining Jupiter, Ben worked at Schroders, managing both retail and institutional portfolios and around £2 billion of assets.
