Fund Objective
To provide income and the potential for long term capital growth through exposure, in both UK and overseas markets, to fixed income, absolute return and equity based investments. The Fund may also seek indirect exposure to commercial property both in the UK and overseas.
Fund Managers
Michiel Timmerman
Michiel joined Ignis in 2010 as managing director and chief investment officer (CIO). Previously, he was chief investment officer of RBS Asset Management's fund of hedge fund, private equity and long-only multi-manager businesses that were acquired by Aberdeen Asset Managers in February 2010. Michiel was co-founder of Coutts' fund of hedge fund business and spent two years working for a London-based European equity hedge fund. He graduated from Oxford University with a D. Phil.
