Fund Objective
The Fund aims to provide a return, from a combination of capital growth and income over the long term (5 years or more). The Fund invests at least 80% of its assets in a concentrated portfolio of shares (also known as equities) of mainly larger companies in the UK. Companies will be incorporated, headquartered, or deriving significant revenue from, the UK. The portfolio may be concentrated in terms of its number of holdings and/or the size of its largest holdings. The Fund is actively managed with reference to the FTSE 350 Index, which is broadly representative of the companies in which it may invest, as this can provide a useful comparator for assessing the Fund’s performance. The investment manager has discretion to choose investments for the Fund with weightings different to the index or not in the index. As an additional means of assessing the performance of the Fund, the IA UK All Companies sector average, which is based on a peer group of broadly similar funds, may also provide a useful comparator.

Graham Kitchen
Graham Kitchen joined Henderson in 2005 and is the Head of Equities. Prior to this, he was Head of UK Equities at Henderson and Threadneedle Investments following thirteen years at INVESCO Asset Management as a UK Fund Manager and Co-Head of Investment. Graham graduated from Lancaster University with a First Class BA (Hons) in History and then gained a master’s degree in Modern History from Oxford University. Graham is a member of AIMR and became a CFA charterholder in 1995.
