Fund Objective
The objective of this fund is to provide a combination of growth and income into the fund in all market conditions over any one year period. The fund will invest between 80% and 100% in UK company shares and/or derivatives which are linked to UK company shares. Derivatives are contracts which have a value linked to the price of another asset. From time to time the fund may hold European shares. At times the fund may be fully invested in derivatives. The fund may use derivatives for the following purposes: To enhance the performance of the fund. This may include using derivatives to create the effect of a short sale. Short selling is used where a fund manager believes that shares are currently overvalued in the market. To help with efficient day to day management. To reduce some of the risks of the market. The fund may also invest in other authorised investment funds and cash.

Guy Rushton
Guy is a fund manager on the UK Equity desk and is responsible for the analysis of the support services and general financials sectors. Prior to joining LGIM in July 2008, Guy worked as a health care equity analyst at Clear Capital. Guy graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2005 with an MA degree in Medical Sciences. He has completed the CFA examinations.
