Fund Managers

Tom McGrath

Tom began his career in 1988 when he joined Invesco Perpetual. He subsequently joined Close in 1999 to work on the development of structured products for the UK retail market. After leaving Close, Tom joined Miton Investments where he achieved notable success managing Miton Special Situations and pioneered the UK multi asset concept with the launch of the CF Miton Arcturus Fund. In 2008 he founded Apollo Multi Asset Management and received the FE Alpha Manager for the IFDS Apollo Balanced Fund. Tom joined 8AM Global as a Partner in December 2014 and in February 2016 assumed responsibility for the Abacus GBP Structured Product Fund which is promoted by IDAD.

Andrew Merricks

Andrew Merricks has been running discretionary money as Head of Investments at Skerritt Wealth Management across multi strategies since 2004 where he has helped the firm win numerous awards for consistent out performance over the years. At the beginning of 2017, whilst still managing money for Skerritts , he joined the 8AM GLOBAL fund management team and has specific responsibility for managing the Focussed fund with Tom.
