GLG Total Return’s investment objective is to provide investors with wealth preservation and growth over a rolling three-year time period in all market conditions through investment in a risk constrained low volatility strategy with a broadly diversified range of underlying investments.
James Ind
James joined Man GLG ('GLG') in July 2013 with a focus on cross-asset portfolio management. Previously, he was managing director and Portfolio Manager at Russell Investments, heading the team responsible for management of multi-asset portfolios with AUM of USD 6bn. Prior to this, as a director of Portfolio Managers at Merrill Lynch, James had responsibility for multi-asset target return funds and global balanced models. He was also a member of ML’s European investment strategy committee overseeing EMEA asset allocation. James's investment background additionally encompasses global equity portfolio management and experience in the commodity and fixed income derivatives markets. He was educated at Durham University and at Cass Business School, where he received his MBA in Finance. He is a CFA charterholder.
