Fund Objective
The Fund seeks over the medium term to deliver a capital return that is in line with, or above, the consumer price index while also providing an average income distribution of 4 per cent. per annum. There is no guarantee that this objective will be met. The Fund will invest across a broad range of asset classes which are intended to provide consistent rates of return with lower risk than more traditional approaches to portfolio management which tend to be largely dependent on the performance of equities.

Marcus Brookes
Marcus Brookes joined Cazenove in January 2008. He heads the Cazenove Capital multi-manager team at Schroders. Before his time at Cazenove Capital Management, he worked for Gartmore Investment Management. Prior to joining Gartmore, Marcus held a similar position at Insight Investment, following its acquisition of Rothschild Asset Management in 2003. He graduated from the University of Sterling with an MSc. in Investment Analysis. He brings over 19 years’ investment experience to the team.
