The investment objective of the Barings German Growth Trust is to achieve capital growth by investing in equities in Germany.
Paul Morgan
Paul Morgan is a member of Barings’ Global Equity Team and is an Investment Manager on the Pan-European Equity Team. Paul is Co-Manager on the Global Dividend Champions Fund and previously ran Barings’ Europe equity income strategies for seven years. He has worked in the industry since 1995. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Paul was an equity fund manager at Brown Shipley & Co. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Hertfordshire, is a member of the CFA Institute and holds the ASIP qualification.
Robert Smith
Robert joined Barings in 1998 and is lead manager for the Baring German Growth Trust. Robert transferred to the Pan European Equity Team in 2008, having previously worked in both the UK & Europe Equity Team and the Pan Euro Small and Mid Cap Team. Robert was appointed Divisional Director in 2005. Before joining Baring Asset Management, Robert worked with HSBC Asset Management and Dresdner RCM Global Investors. Robert is a member of the Society of Technical Analysts and has passed the Securities Institute Diploma. He received the Investment Management Certificate in 1995 and was awarded the SFA Registered Representative in 1991.
