The Fund aims to provide exposure to approximately 50% UK companies and 50% overseas companies, with the aim of delivering capital growth over the medium to long term. The Fund will invest primarily in one or more collective investment schemes (funds investing in shares and other assets). The Fund may also invest in transferable securities, money market instruments, derivatives and forward transactions and deposits. The Fund may hold cash or borrow in order to manage the issue and redemption of units.
David Elms
David Elms is Head of Diversified Alternatives and a Portfolio Manager at Janus Henderson Investors responsible for enhanced index, risk premia, and hedge portfolios. Prior to joining Henderson in 2002, he spent eight years as a founding partner at Portfolio Partners. He was initially based in Melbourne, where he managed derivatives and enhanced index portfolios, and was later seconded to Aviva in London in a corporate strategy role following Aviva’s acquisition of Portfolio Partners. Earlier, he spent three years as associate director at County NatWest Investment Management, Melbourne, where he was responsible for equities and equity derivative trading as well as quantitative research. David received a BCom degree (Hons) from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He has 29 years of financial industry experience.
Claire Seanor
Claire Seanor, is the Team Leader, Global Passive & Support. Claire graduated from Edinburgh University with a BCom (Hons) in Business Studies and Economics. She begun her career in 2000 for Middlebury Capital Partners as a Risk Analyst until she joined Henderson Global Investors in 2001 in the same role. She is now Team Leader of Global Passive and Support, and Fund Manager for Emerging Market Equities. Claire became a CFA charterholder in 2003.
Claire Orme
Claire Orme joined Henderson Global Investors in 2001 as a Risk Analyst. Her career began in 2000 with Middlebury Capital Partners, also as a Risk Analyst. In 2004 she became Fund Manager for Multi-Strategy Equities. Claire graduated with an honours degree in Business Studies and Economics from the University of Edinburgh. She is also a CFA Charterholder.
