The fund aims to provide capital growth in excess of the MSCI Pacific ex Japan (Gross Total Return) index (after fees have been deducted) over a 3 to 5 year period by investing in equities in developed markets of the Asia Pacific region. The fund may also seek to provide income. The fund is actively managed and invests at least 80% of its assets in equities of companies in developed markets of the Asia Pacific region, excluding Japan. The fund follows an active investment policy and seeks to invest in companies which the investment manager believes have strong cash flows and dividend support. The fund may also invest directly or indirectly in other securities (including in other asset classes), countries, regions, industries or currencies, collective investment schemes (including Schroder funds), warrants and money market instruments, and hold cash. The fund may use derivatives with the aim of reducing risk or managing the fund more efficiently.
