The Fund seeks to achieve capital growth and, gradually over time, to reduce the risk of capital erosion for investors planning to withdraw all or substantial portions of their investment in the Fund during or after the Target Date Range (which is 2036-40).
Sheldon MacDonald
Sheldon joined Liontrust in Nov 2020. Previously he worked at Architas where he managed the Multi-Asset Blended Fund range. He oversaw fund selection and managed the products' asset allocation and investment strategies. He also lead the fund manager research across a number of sectors, including multi-asset and money market strategies. Before joining Architas in 2010, Sheldon was a fund of funds manager at Nedgroup Investments, part of Old Mutual Plc. As well as running a variety of long only multi-asset strategies, Sheldon has extensive experience in the hedge fund space and, prior to joining Nedgroup Investments, was Head of Derivative Trading at Old Mutual Asset Managers in South Africa. Sheldon has a BComm in Financial Accounting and Economics and holds the IMC. He has 22 years of investment experience.
Jen Causton
Jen joined Liontrust in Nov 2020 having previously been at Architas from 2009 to set up the company’s investment writing function before moving to their Investment Team in 2012 where she lead research on UK equities and property in addition to co-managing Architas Monthly High Income Fund, Architas Strategic Bond Fund and Architas Diversified Global Income Fund, and managing the Architas Multi-Manager UK Equity Fund and Protector Fund range. Prior to Architas, she worked at Schroders as an investment writer covering multi-asset funds and the investment group’s more esoteric products. Jen has an MSc in Financial Markets and Derivatives and is IMC qualified. She has 14 years of investment experience.
