The Fund’s investment objective is to invest in regulated collective investment schemes which aim to provide a good level of income with the potential for capital gain by investing in bonds.
Ignacio Barreras
Ignacio Barreras joined Santander Asset Management in January 2011 and is a Fund Manager at the Multi Asset Solutions department. Since joining the team he has contributed to the development of the investment process and product range, managing a diverse set of portfolios with different investment strategies across different jurisdictions. Ignacio holds a Licenciatura & Master (Bachelor & Masters) in Business Administration, majoring in Finance, from Esade (Barcelona), and Masters in Economics from HEC Paris. He is also a CFA charterholder since 2014.
Renzo Desbordes
Renzo Desbordes, Global Multi Manager Portfolio Strategist, has thirteen years’ experience in fund management. He joined Santander Asset Management UK in September 2011. Prior to joining the business, Renzo was at Investec Asset Management in the Global Equity Team as an analyst where he was involved in the development and back testing of the equity investment process. Renzo started his career at Fidelity on the European Graduate Scheme where, for two years, he split his time between London and Milan. He has a M.A. in Financial Engineering from the University of Nice. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
Stefano Amato
Stefano Amato is a Head of Multi Asset Solutions at Santander Asset Management UK, after joining in September 2017 to initially focus on Asset Allocation and Total Return mandates. Prior to this, he was a Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in London, where Stefano was part of the Endowments and Foundations Group and was responsible for managing institutional portfolios including asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager selection, risk management and client communications. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Mr Amato was Head of Portfolio Management at Centurion Portfolio Managers – a UK-based multi-family office – where he focused on building and managing multi asset portfolios focused on long-term returns. Stefano has 13 years’ experience in investments spanning both sell-side and buy-side experience, having started his career with roles in equity derivatives at Lehman Brothers and Societe Generale. Mr Amato holds a MSc in Finance from London Business School, along with a Masters in Behavioural Economics and a BA in Communication Sciences and Technologies from IULM University in Milan, Italy.
